Was Haman in the Book of Esther a Jewish King? Part Two.

by   Damien F. Mackey       {For Part One, see: http://bookofesther-amaic.blogspot.com.au/2013/11/is-book-of-esther-real-history.html }       Introduction So far I have concluded, based on some compelling Jewish legends, that Haman of the Book of Esther was actually a Jew, not an Amalekite (etc.), and that he was in fact King Jehoiachin. And that the opinion that he was an Agagite, or an Amalekite (Greek: Amali̱kíti̱s ) may have arisen from Jehoiachin’s chief epithet, “Captive” (Greek: aichmálo̱tos ) , of similar phonetics. …. …. Was Haman in the Book of Esther a Jewish King?

Is the Book of Esther a Real History? by Damien F. Mackey Though I think that it is, all of my previous attempts to demonstrate this have come unstuck. This time around I am going to take as my starting point, for Esther as a real history, these two interesting clues, that may possibly be connectable: Firstly, Louis Ginzberg’s ‘substantial evidence that Mordecai and Haman were both Jews who knew each other well’ ( The Legends of the Jews ). [See further on] And, secondly, a synthesis of the elevation of the Jewish king, Jehoiachin, by an eastern king: 2 Kings 25: 27-28 : Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year that he began to reign, released Jehoiachin king of Judah from prison. He spoke kindly to him, and gave him a more prominent seat than those of the kings who were with him in Babylon. with the elevation of Haman by an eastern king: Esther 3:1 : After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hamm

Convergence of Biblical Genesis and Egyptian Creation Accounts

My new book: The Messianic Temple: Genesis at Edfu     The Earliest Egyptian creation stories are not just similar to the book of Genesis, they are the same; in time they became convoluted, conflated and disconnected from their ancient past. Taking the Bible at its word, my research revealed some astonishing facts concerning the Egyptian Zep Tepi, or creation story. Did you know it contains the story of Adam and Eve? They are called Wa and Aa and were led out of the Djeba domain ( Paradise ) to the Wetjeset-Neter domain (Our Reality) because of the snake, the Great Leaping One . It also states the world was destroyed by a global flood and when the primeval waters receded, the Shebtiw (Noah’s family) began rebuilding the world. It doesn’t end there; there are more perfect parallels to the creation stories in Genesis and Early Jewish Writings. This book will challenge your basic belief of what truly happened in the ancient beginnings of Egypt . I

Horemheb much earlier than Tirhakah

A Reader Has Commented: .... some [Velikovskians] .... will not be delighted at your insistence that Amenhotep III and Haremhab are within one generation, ie that of Huy. For my part I’m now concerned over the Ethiopian Venture by Tutankhamun. Under my chronology Tutankhamun has to be within the incoming Ethiopian invasion period as both re-instated the worship of Amun after a break. Have you considered that the Nubian / Ethiopian venture might not be an instigation by Egypt but something of a different sort? Your links of Haremhab and Tutankhamun seem to be correct as far as my research goes, Further though, Do you see Haremhab as a contemporary of Taharka? Best Wishes .... Damien Mackey's Response: .... I see Horemheb [Haremhab] as his perfect biblical counterpart in type (both reigning for 28 years), king Jehu, chariot riding, red-necked, proud, law enforcing administrator, who was nevertheless very just and fair to the poor.
